Twelve fair steps and thirteen points
Each ball samples twelve independent fair left/right steps. Start at position zero and include all thirteen points (row, position). For every pair of endpoints separated by at least two rows, count one chord only when its straight connecting line lies strictly above EVERY intermediate point. Adjacent pairs, collinear intermediate points and intermediate points above the line do not qualify. Raw score is the NUMBER of qualifying pairs, not their length, area or slope. One whole captured stake prices the entire trace.
Points (0,0),(1,-1),(2,0) give one qualifying pair between rows zero and two. Points (0,0),(1,1),(2,0) give none for that pair. A twelve-step all-left or all-right trace is collinear and scores zero. A qualifying pair contributes exactly one regardless of endpoint separation.
There are 13 zero-score traces and 4083 positive-score traces; maximum raw score is 36. All three power modes preserve positive-score frequency. A positive gross credit may still be smaller than the captured stake. Previous traces do not change a new independent trace.
For p=1,2,3, gross multiplier = 0.96*rawScore^p/mean(rawScore^p). Exact unconditional means are 11.5908203125, 159.86767578125 and 2558.6201171875. Each mode has 96% expected unrounded gross credit, not net profit, a winning frequency or a guaranteed wallet. Zero stays zero. Powers are not multiplication by two or three; raw score is never directly added as the payout.

Settled balance, already debited stake and fractional carry persist in localStorage. Reload does not resume unfinished balls, refund their stakes or pay pending credit. Keep active balls open until settlement. Clearing ordinary cache alone may leave localStorage; removing local data cannot recover progress or erase data already processed elsewhere.
